Black tea gets its flavour in the rolling and the resting — and that is the part you do by hand. We pick and sun-wither the leaves before you arrive, then dry your batch and post it to you.

What's Included

Step-by-step guidance from a tea farmer
We dry your batch and post it to you (about 30g)
Tea brewed together from our own harvest — honey black, Jin Xuan, oolong, whatever is open that day — with flavour notes as we go

Important Notes

This session covers rolling and oxidation — picking and sun-withering are done before you arrive, and we handle the drying
Your tea does not go home with you on the day. We dry it first and post it, usually the next day and within two to three days at the latest. Shipping to a single address in Taiwan is included — for separate parcels or overseas delivery, we will let you know the cost
Wear clothing you don't mind staining — dark colours are best (rolling stains)
The process takes about 3 hours; please allow plenty of time
Minimum 4 participants required for the session to run
